FeverPlanet (“FeverPlanet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a travel discovery service that helps you find famous and interesting sights near your location. FeverPlanet is a subsidiary of Wiser5 LLC, based in Miami, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website at www.feverplanet.com and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Location information. When you choose to use location features, we collect approximate or precise geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) to find nearby sights. On the web, location is requested through your browser and is sent only when you grant permission. You may browse with a default demo location instead. We do not continuously track your location in the background on the web.
Usage and analytics data. We use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This may include:
Analytics data is sent to our analytics provider, Amplitude, using a pseudonymous device or installation identifier. We do not require you to create an account.
On iOS, we request your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before sending analytics that may be used for tracking. If you decline, we do not send those analytics events from the app.
Saved library (local storage). If you save sights to your library, that list is stored locally on your device (for example, in browser local storage or device storage). We do not upload your saved library to our servers unless a future feature explicitly tells you otherwise.
Server and API data. When you search for nearby sights, our servers receive your search coordinates and may cache aggregated search results to improve performance. Our database stores public information about places (names, coordinates, ratings, descriptions, and similar metadata sourced from third parties), not your personal profile.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, request timestamps, and referring URLs, for security, debugging, and reliability.
Information we do not collect. We do not require registration, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment card details, or government ID through the core Service.

The web Service may use browser local storage for saved sights and may allow analytics providers to store identifiers or similar technologies to recognize your browser or device across sessions. You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking them may limit certain features (such as saved library or analytics).
We do not use advertising cookies to serve third-party behavioral ads on the Service.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
Cached search results on our servers are kept for a limited time (typically up to about one hour per search area) to improve performance. Place metadata in our database may be retained longer to avoid repeated third-party API calls. Analytics data retention is governed by Amplitude’s settings and our internal policies. Local library data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
